Telling Melissa's Grandparents

Telling Amanda

Telling the Swanbergs!

Week 9

This week baby Swanberg has officially gone from an embryo to a fetus!  Woohoo!  They have more distinct facial features and their heart beat is strong enough to detect with a fetal doppler.  This is also the week of our first doctor's appointment (Thursday), which we are really excited for!  So far I haven't gained any weight but I do notice that my pants are getting a bit tighter!

8 Weeks

We have a raspberry-sized baby this week!  Baby Swanberg's tail has disappeared this week (woohoo!), they have fingers and toes, and their taste buds are forming!  From what thebump.com says, they are moving a lot, but I won't be feeling that for another 10 weeks or so.

We've spent the weekend in Northern Maine telling our families the good news.  There will be videos posted shortly!

Telling Melissa's Parents

We told my parents on Sunday September 30, 2012!  They were in Portland for my mom's post office training so Caleb and I took a day trip to share the news!  Enjoy!

Week 7...Hello Morning Sickness

This post is about 5 days late!  Sorry about that!

Still not much to show.
This week, our baby is the size of a blueberry!  How cute is that?
Baby Swanberg is very busy this week making 100 new brain cells/minute, developing kidneys, and their arm and leg joints are forming!

I am officially having pregnancy symptoms.  Big time.  I feel sick to my stomach every morning when I wake up!!  I'm trying some tips that I've read online like eating small amounts of food throughout the day, but it's not helping very much.

In other news, this is the week when we we get to tell our parents!  Yahoo!!!
